ColorOS 12 did pre-installed Google services framework. What you need to do is just download Google Play Store APK and install it

I have my OP10 Pro on standby for the same reason. I've been scouring the internet for days now, so far all countries have the OP10 promo page but their devices and support pages are not updated yet.

It'd be great if the first person to find the OxygenOS ROM comes back to this post and shares it with everyone. I'll try to make a short tutorial of the upgrading process, which hopefully can be done easily through About Device > Version > Trial versions.

Well rom update you can get from oxygen updater but you need to have Google play store but get APK mirror installer then because to already have Google core in your device download the Google play store .apkm file use APK mirror installer and you can use Google apps to on Chinese version
