Guys come on,

think about it this way, price of sensation is far superior
one s may be faster due to the newer processor, but at the end of the day they are both 1.2Ghz or 1.5, which is speedy enough to run the highest tech games available, camera for sensation and one s are both equal etc.

at the end of the day, sensation is worth it, one s isnt,
also, the battery life isnt great apparently and no way to replace it with a anker, just remember to upgrade to the s3 next time, not a htc

not that im favoring my phone, i think the sensation is an average device, but the one s is total **** and not worth it, if you need a phone i would still buy the sensation due to the price difference

I wouldn't call the Sensation a better device, but it is a better device for me. I absolutely hate penntile because small details are easily noticed by me and those blotchy large green pixels piss me off. I also don't care for Sense 4 and the Sensation flies on AOSP and Senseless roms. Also, I have a 32GB SD, I can't lose half of that now.

That being said, the Sensation is a better choice for me and many others.

Frequency does not single-handedly determine performance, whether synthetic or real world.
Hasn't K8 vs Netburst taught that to everyone yet?

This is true, the S4 is something like 1.5 to 2 times as powerful as the S3. I don't remember where I read that, but it's pretty powerful. It's also on a smaller die, so battery life is better. Something to consider, however, is how much power do you need? For me, I browse the web, I use my Reddit application, play a few basic games, send messages, and calls. There's also the UI to take into consideration. The S3 along with ICS' hardware acceleration churns along smoothly doing these things. The S4 may be better, but many people simply don't need it.

For me, Sensation 4G = free, One S = $150.

Screw One S, I'll take Sensation for free :)

If One S was maybe hovering around $100 I would have maybe considered, but such a minor upgrade and worse battery life (with non-replaceable battery!) and less storage (with non-upgradeable sd card!).

and for good measure

The One S and obviously One X are far superior than this phone, and it isn't even close. If someone's going to be XC gaming on their phone then the contrast will be even greater. That being said, you're absolutely right about the average user not needing ANY of this. Quad cores for Scramble With Friends, Draw Something, and Instagram is overkill

Playing games on a phone maybe nice, but if you can't talk to someone since your battery is empty it clearly misses the mark.

It all depends on your personal needs and taste.
Don't let us be too childish.
