Are you officially on the Beta or using the files from here?I have an unlocked S21 ultra in the USA and I haven't gotten the update to stable yet, anyone know when it should be released? I am currently running the final beta release and havent had the update show up yet.
I'm officially in the beta, just have been waiting for the official stable update. I was curious if they had released the OTA in the states yet or delayed it to fix the refresh bug.Are you officially on the Beta or using the files from here?
If you're not officially on it, you won't receive the OTA to stable, you need to flash it manually. From that point on, you will receive OTA's like normal once you are on stable. But unofficially on the Beta, you will not receive OTA's, even if the last OTA is to stable. You still won't get it.
However, both U and U1 OTA's to stable have been posted here, so you can just sideload which of those correspond to your device to get on the stable build whether you're officially on the Beta or not.
Yes. But I would recommend using oding to flash the stable firmware. This way you will be able to receive OTA updates.
You will still get OTA updates. You can download the firmware from Frija now since its out on the Samsung servers so you can flash via Odin. If you do decide to sideload and update that way that works as well. I'd recommend downloading and flashing with Odin though.
Did you see any improvements or fixes of the problems ?Just checked and got BUKF for T-mobile U. Still November security patch. View attachment 5472103
Everything seems good so far. I do know this update fixed the issue with the phone not running @ 120hz
Thank you for this link. Google drive is much faster than trying to get this elsewhere and this update made a huge difference in speed/fluidity. I appreciate it!Here's SM-G998U TMB BUKF for anyone who didn't get the OTA.
Flash with Odin, use HOME_CSC to retain user data. It's just an update so you don't need to factory reset.
Always backup your phone first, just to be safe.
Why is this link dead? Here the link for the usa snapdragon s21 ultra.
Can i apply this to my snapdragon? Here's SM-G998U TMB BUKF for anyone who didn't get the OTA.

Here is instruction how to capture update file: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...for-s21-plus-ultra-download-ota-link.4333487/
Instructions provided by @elliwigy :
- Model needs to be G998U or G998U1
- Flash the starting firmware to your device using modified odin if you are not already on it (this example needs to flash G998U1 4AUH9 to your G998U or G998U1 if not already on it.)
- Download G998U1 4AUH9 to 4ZUID update.zip to your PC.
- Have the update zip in same directory as ADB binary (if not in PATH) then open a terminal window (Windows will be powershell or cmd prompt.)
- Use hardware buttons to enter recovery mode then select "Apply Update Using ADB...) or if you have adb on device authorized can type in terminal "adb reboot sideload" or "adb reboot recovery" then select "Apply Update Using ADB..."
- Once in sideliad mode, type in terminal "adb sideload nameofupdate.zip"
Just relax, take a breath, make a coffee, don't take it to heart. Everyone is an asshole on the internet. @Jay5583 probably just stubbed their toe and was pissed off at the world so they lashed out at you.. Or they just clearly didn't know there is a typo in the opening post. It says that Beta 1 for G998U is AUH9 to ZUID, which is not true. It's AUGQ to ZUID. AUH9 is ONLY for "U1" and does not exist for "U" (which is why it would seem like such a simple task to just tell people to search instead of actually helping, because finding a firmware is a fairly simple thing to do, and if people won't help themselves than why help others) but they CLEARLY didn't know that AUH9 doesn't exist for "U" because it's a "U1" only firmware which is why you're not finding anything, because no matter how hard you search, you're not going to find a firmware that doesn't exist lol. So, don't take it to heart that they were coming across as rude because from the information provided on here, it seemed like a very simple task and they were probably just pissed about something else and lashed out at you for asking such a simple question. But the real issue was the typo and the firmware you as well as they thought you needed, doesn't actually exist. That's why I try to stay away from the forums, cause of people like you. Always backhanded help with attitude. You're a senior member and you're acting like a thread d!ck. Thanks anyway.
