7We don't have a MSM tool which would allow us to restore the device from bricking... Until there is an alternative method to recover.... We might not see the custom ROM development.... Thanks to the OP becoming OPPO (or vice versa) and the greedy mindset of blocking stuff...OP is no longer dev friendly but yet another ******* company5
If you can't get to fastboot, you need msm and you put your phone on EDL mode. I had to do this numerous times on my 8T. It's a clean and safe way to get back to stock in almost any situation.4
I would guess that when you develop a custom ROM, the chances of bricking your phone is significantly higher than when you flash a custom ROM someone has already made2

I plan to get a OnePlus 10T soon UNLOCKED model.
What are my prospects for installing a custom ROM now or in the future? I had a OP 9 a few months ago & only had it for a short time.
