Wait why would I want a watermark?

That's not even a watermark, the image is shrunk and then useless extra Hasselblad info gets appended to the shot which results in a smaller less detailed image.

And don't get me started that this Hasselblad crap can be added in Photoshop in 5 seconds.

And that multiple phones around make much better shots than OP11 without any watermarks, e.g. SGS23 Ultra.

In short, "I wanna show off without realizing I make it all worse".

The s23 ultra has a 200-megapixel main camera, of course it takes better pictures. It's also double the price.

SGS 23 Ultra 8/256 - $930
OP11 16/256 - $800

Very far from "double the price" - in fact it's only 17% more expensive.

And no one stopped OP from using a 200MP sensor, a wireless charging module or USB 3.0 port. USB 2.0 for a flagman in 2023 sounds like an insult. They saved every penny to increase margins.

SGS 23 Ultra 12/256 costs $1500
OP 11 16/256 costs $750

Here in India. It's exactly double.

You can thank OP for this since they were doing deflated prices for India region specifically for some time.
Mentioning Indian market does make sense when you can compare globally various market prices and then there is not a clear "double the price" scheme going on.

i would even say that quoting Indian price should be forbidden, this market has such a broken pricing thanks to Oneplus that it doesn't make sense at all (people from this region can be really happy I guess).

Plenty of devices with better cameras than Oneplus 11 and this empty Hasselblad logo slapped on the body.

This is not an Indian forum. I've provided international pricing. Also, as an Indian citizen, you're welcome to buy SGS23 Ultra from AliExpress where it costs around $950. And most AliExpress sellers declare a customs value of $150 or something like that, so whatever import taxes you have, they will be negligible.

I don't know what's going on with your official pricing but it's far from sane.

I'm pretty happy with the camera so far, although I hate the round aesthetic on the back of the device.

The addition of the Hasselblad watermark is stupid, I'll certainly never use it.

As far as the s23 ultra 256, I see $1199.99 on Samsung's website. I paid $750 for my OP 11 and got their buds 2 pro free, so it was a way better deal for me.

New update for EU region in Oxygen Updater.
Nothing about watermark or even May security patch.
