The GPS is an Issues on the phone atm. They wil come out with a fix in the next update. For me personally the phone is great and IHave no issues beside GPS from time to time.
So OnePlus is aware of the issue and working on it? You know this how?

The OP3 is the best I've ever had and used, and there's no phone out there worth jumping ship for at $400.

I hope they address it because I have had dropped calls more with the OP3 that I haven't experienced in a long time from other inferior phones. Maybe they don't realize that a metal unibody is not such a good idea.

They need more expertise in tuning the signals while keeping good battery life. My Motorola X Pure was great but battery life sucked.

Hmm, I haven't had any GPS issues at all. I haven't look at exactly how many satellites i'm getting, but I get a lock on my GPS way faster than my old Nexus 4 and LG G4. It wanders less too inside buildings.

Is it normal for my phone to get little warm after playing for like 40-50 minutes ? Is it because OP3 is made of metal or all devices with snapdragon 820 reach around 40-45 degree Celsius after that much time ?

Hello from the other side~

Pokemon Go is very data intensive.
No. No it is not. If you're having such a hard time with things loading though, I'd suggest downloading your local map for offline use using Google Maps.

Niantic uses Google Maps to render both Ingress and Pokemon Go.
Also try disabling AR, I find it pretty pointless myself so I keep it off regardless.
