I think everyone forgets about slickwraps...I know I do.
Normally I am a dbrand disciple and I have bought a 'black camo' skin for the OP6 from dbrand but I am weird and the texture drives me insane!This will only affect me and people like me but the camo and carbon skin to me feels like printed holographic things. Which is like nails down a blackboard to me. Anyway I wanted a texture but not leather this time so I went with slickwraps to try the 'slate'. It is great. Photos attached. It is grainy and grippy, like a much smoother sandstone case. Love it.
For anyone who is interested or has the same texture issues as me, slickwraps kindly threw in some samples of their other skins for me to try. The 'woven metal' is a no go, same horrid (to me) texture, the 'honeycomb' has elements of the same texture but because the hexagons are raised you wouldn't feel it so I might give that a go at some point. 'Burnt Robot' is like an uneven leather so also seems fine.

I'm also using a skin from that place. It's very good and helps with how slippy the back is. Plus, obviously, it will stop the back getting scratches.

Hey thinking of getting this dbrand skin and I wanted to ask how grippy is it or does it make it more slippery than without it? Thanks
For me it's the same for the midnight black version. This version is slippery and the dbrand skin doesn't add much/none grip. I don't care because I use the skin just for the mini scratches when I use it without the case and want to put it on a table.
Tried aged oak from xtremeskins. Texture is fine, but something is just not on the same level as dbrand/slickwraps. Looks cool though.
