Very interesting as I thought GM1900 was China only, alas all is working fine here
It doesn't work. It just bootloops to recovery when I flash BA over AA

Is it flashable in TWRP?
Sad to hear. Worked for me without issues, I have unlocked bootloader by the way. Also magisk and twrp survived the switch.

Just to double check, I have the European version GM1903 (GM57BA) so I should flash the first one?
The global zip is for Asia version of the phone?

I ran into an issue today.
1- I downloaded the update through the phones updater. (9.5.8 BA. Full ZIP (2Go))
2- I went into TWRP and flashed latest twrp unofficial installer.
3- I flashed magisk
4- I rebooted into twrp, latest unofficial
5- Flashed OTA file from .OTA folder.
6- Flashed latest TWRP unofficial installer
7- Flashed magisk
=> stuck in bootloop.
Only fix was to go into twrp and manually select the other Slot, which worked thank god.
Anyone has a clue what I did wrong?

23- GM1900 is the Chinese variant OnePlus 7 running HydrogenOS (with GM57 build tag).
- It is possible to flash both GM57AA (global) and GM57BA (EU) OxygenOS firmware on top of the HydrogenOS using the Local Upgrade method.
- Bootloader unlocking is not necessary for switching to OxygenOS.
- After conversion, you'll get OTA update from the respective branch.
