just got one for december 5,2022 on my one plus7t global converted now over to HD1901 with oxygen os 12.1 convertion mess. as soon as the oxygen os build are end of life going to custom rom .
Just a general question (sorry if this was answered already before):
I'm currently running the latest stock Oxygen OS (Android 12 - HD1903_11_F.17) on my OnePlus 7T (Europe).
If I root my OnePlus 7T now or install a custom rom - will I be able to go back to stock? (I don't mind about wiping)
I'm just wondering, because in this thread the latest version for Europe is 11.0.9.1: OnePlus7TOxygen_14.E.35_GLO_0350_2206171459
Would I be able to just install version 11.0.9.1? (and then upgrade to the latest version again via a normal OTA update?)
Probably this won't work because downgrading is not possible right?
So would there be any way to return to stock after rooting?

- OOS 11: Downgrade to OOS 11.0.5.1 (EU) - Also listed the IN downgrade to 11.0.5.1 for the GLO region as OnePlus claims on their forums the zip is intended for both regions
- OOS 12: F.17 (EU, IN), F.18 (IN).
OOS 12 F.17 global build https://gauss-otacostmanual-sg.alla...0/14/8a6c502e-d491-4d5b-b473-23851082ce7c.zip whose MD5 hash is 98d8d40d37b586762133d8b198ca35d2 appears to be pulled from the OTA servers now, hence why it is not listed.

When T-mobile forced me to update to Android 11 it definitely started recognizing my Blue Shock Xbox series X as a generic USB Xbox Controller something that my earlier Android 10 OP 7T lacked.
Good for fighting game that requires minimal input lag because it bypass bluetooth completely.
The cable had the same type for boths connectors so it was a direct connection between my op7t and Xbox controller. No adapter needed.
btw microsoft released a recent Xbox series X controller firmware so input lag was fixed once again with bluetooth.

You can but only to the EUR or Indian ROMs for now. IIRC, those are the only ones released so far. If you prefer global, that hasn't been released yet.

It checks for product name, OTA version.
As for why you're getting F.18 in lieu of F.20, that's likely because of staged rollout.
Regarding why it says "HD1901" in lieu of "HD1905", OnePlus said on their forums this is just a display issue , there's nothing to worry about it.
Bands support should not change, to the best of my knowledge.1
The OTA system will give you HD1905_11.F.20_3200_202301310046 as listed in the OP, since ultimately it doesn't care about your device model number.11
Successfully updated from F.17 (oos12) to F.20 with this update package, on my HD1903 EU

75As OnePlus doesn't always provide download links for all of their OxygenOS ROMs & OTA update zips, we've created an index to put the links in one post so that they're easy to find.
Note: This is not a support thread for issues you may have with OxygenOS ROMs. If you need help installing or updating, feel free to ask here. If you have any other issues, please ask in another thread.
For the sake of simplicity, only signed flashable (full) zips are listed. These are recovery-flashable zips of the full ROM that won't overwrite your data partition unless mentioned otherwise. They can be flashed via local update in Settings --> System --> System Updates or TWRP recovery (if it becomes available one day for devices shipping with A10 out of the box).
Packages with build tag HD65AA and letter I in filename are intended for the following variant:
HD1901: India
