I have the same Problem with the OTP SMS for heytap/oppo account. All other SMS work with Google Messages App.

In my case, no messages comes on default message app. I had already disabled the Google messages app while i was on oos because i was using the oxygen message app. But now after enabling, google message also doesn't work.

I am not a pro but I think you should turn on the developer mode then go back to updates click on 3 dots and you will find the local upgrade option. By the way which build you are on?

Color OS 12 looks promissing, but this version is not suitable for western users. Keyboard is chinese type, there are no GApps provided, in my opinion Settings are scattered. Graphically OS is more attractive then Oxygen. By the way - returning to Oxygen is possible only via MSMDownloadTool i.e. kebab_15_E.12_201110.

You can always install playstore like I did and just install everything else. I live Trinidad so there's no Google Assistant for me.

Right. Since there is a chinese OS, I'll wait for EU version. System looks nice, there is even 5G option present.

as of now warp charge does not work on kb2007 but i guess its probably because its the TMO variant since other 8T variant are not having the same problem. In the meantime i don't know if theirs a fix for it so maybe waiting for the next update

Oneplus also started recruitment for open beta program for Oneplus 8, 8pro & 8T based on ColorOS 12. Soon after the recruitment, we got the first ColorOS 12..
