How To Guide OnePlus 9: How to switch between Color OS and Oxygen OS without unlocking the bootloader

Managed to convert my 9pro from ColorOS to Oxygen OS,

nvbackupui no longer popup.

But Verification portion is still missing.

The China variant of the OnePlus 9 series comes with Color OS instead of Hydrogen OS by default, which is not good news for geeks as Color OS has many limitations compared to Hydrogen OS. Recently, OnePlus has officially provided a way to switch between Color OS and Oxygen OS.

Please note that switching systems will clear all user data, so you better know what you're doing.

· Switch from Color OS to Oxygen OS
Download the downgrade package for the appropriate model and system and put it in the internal storage.

Installation steps: Settings - Software update - Settings (top right corner) - Select installation package - Select the previously downloaded downgrade package - Install now - Install now

If the Select installation package option is grayed out, it means that you now have a pending system update and you can choose to install or skip it.

To skip update: Settings - App management - App list - Menu (top right corner) - Show system - Software update - Storage usage - Clear data - OK - Disconnect all network connections

· Switching from Oxygen OS to Color OS
Download the downgrade package for the appropriate model and system and put it in the root directory of the internal storage.

Installation steps: Settings - System - System updates - Settings (top right corner) - Local upgrade - Select the previously downloaded downgrade package - CONFIRM

Just reboot your device after the installation is complete and have fun!

There is no option called installation package in color os settings how to switch to oxygen os please help

My phone also shows the same verification missing. Sorry I am new to this. Is that an issue? How does it impact the phone?

Nvbackupui error is only hidden by the update. If you dial *#268# in contacts. You can still see the invalid nv 2500 there

My new phone received as LE2100, with Color OS. The current build is LE2110_11_A.08 after update.

I try to update to Oxygen OS. However, I cannot update to any downgrade package (regardless of AA, BA, or DA version). I received the same error message for each attempt:
Verification failed

I also tried to rename the package I downloaded to a shorter name based on one of the YouTube videos, but does not solve my issue, still shows 'Verification failed'.

Any suggestion from those who succeed already?

Issue fixed after I used Downgrade zips.

Oxygen OS now!

I downloaded the Downgrade Zip from Terabox and it worked !!!
(I tried to download the same file from Androfilehost but it failed in the middle).

I bought this phone with oos installed and I've received updated already. I'm currently on 11.2.8.8. I'm tempted to try color os for a few days. I even downloaded the downgrade file. Question: does Color Os have Google services installed?

Im not sure USA version can be stock Color OS (China), so be careful

I have a le2110 ,which was running le25aa oxygen out of the box ? I find it confusing with OnePlus ROMs (stock) where I had no problem with HTC U12+ & Sony Xperia 1,2 , looking for full ROM ,any suggestions ??
