Are you serious? The S7 display is WAY better in every aspect.
I'm serious. I have both phones right here. And I did say that the S7 Edge display is a little brighter and a little sharper, but I don't see how that makes it WAY better, especially now that OnePlus has provided an update that calibrates it to be just as accurate as the S7 display in sRGB mode.

Many aspects are the same. Both are covered in Gorilla Glass 4. They have equal viewing angles. They are both AMOLED and made by Samsung. They both have similarly accurate colors in sRGB mode.

You are not the only one to have them both but yes your "a little" probably means "a lot". There is night and day difference in brightness, especially when you are outdoor. And where did you try sRGB mode in the OP3 so that you can say they have similar accurate colors? Samsung makes many different kinds/generations of amoleds. Your "They are both AMOLED and made by Samsung." statement makes no sense. If you love the phone that is okay but don't come here to talk about display being almost as good as the S7. Also it is not true that Anandtech dinged OP3 display just for color accuracy.

Oh, you haven't seen the updated Anandtech article I guess. OnePlus sent out an update that dramatically improved display color accuracy and Anandtech retested the screen and found that it is now one of the best in terms of color accuracy. And I've stated all over these forums that I am keeping my S7 Edge and returning the OnePlus 3 because I prefer the S7 Edge, so why would I pretend that the OnePlus 3 display isn't much worse than the S7 Edge display if I didn't actually believe that? Yeesh, you don't have to believe me. That's your choice. I was just posting my honest opinions and observations. I have been posting on xda since 2008 and am a recognized developer. Has the Op3 sRGB update actually been released yet??

I have both here (S7e and Op3, criticising the latter mostly for the display accuracy and resolution, mostly in horizontal view). I will update my verdict accordingly but need to download the update first.

Like you, I keep the S7e, an absolutely brilliant phone for my purposes but the update may persuade me to keep the Op3 as second phone.

Hi
Anybody know how to change the place of the home button? You can ONLY swap the multitasking and back button but the home button is always in the middle. However on my OnePlusOne the home button is on the left as i can customize easily on Android 5.1.1 but on the Lollipop i could not find this option. Only swap.

This is very annoying

The update has been released to review phones only at this point, but OnePlus said it would roll out to everyone very soon.
