Hey guys, I have a question for you. Two days ago I ordered the OnePlus 5 128 GB. I used my american debit card and this morning when I checked my online banking I saw that OnePlus actually charged additional $16.17 for "International Fee".
Has somebody else been charged with such a fee ?
What would you suggest me to do?
It is funny. I live in Maryland (USA) and OnePlus sent me the phone from Los Angeles but we are still in the same country

That is your credit card company, not oneplus. If you had used paypal for the transaction instead of their cc check out, you would not have had the fee, as paypal is processed in the US...

Exactly, even if the phone was sent from a US shipping depot the paiement is processed from a Chinese company and international fees can apply from your credit card company (especially if you use a Amex card, they are the worst for the fees).
You never see this problem by using PayPal.

It has nothing to do with where it comes from. It's just based on the recipient. Just another reason to use PayPal.
