Hello to all!
I managed to update DN2103_11_A.07 via 1. ROMinstaller.bat. At the same time, the problem with the camera and the fingerprint scanner did not disappear. When trying to upgrade to А.09 via twrp, an error occurred during installation. Installing zip via downloader gets an error Archive does not contain 'android-something.txt ...
I ask for your help

If someone prefer, I've found a way to backup the various partitions without the need of a third party app or even without the need of root.

While in TWRP, use these commands in your adb terminal:
    Bash:
    adb shell

    mkdir /sdcard/PartitionsBackup

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc13 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/nvcfg.img

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc14 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/nvdata.img

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc23 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/nvram.img

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc16 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/persist.img

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc22 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/proinfo.img

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc17 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/protect1.img

    dd if=/dev/block/sdc18 of=/sdcard/PartitionsBackup/protect2.img

    exit
You'll find the backed up partitions in the PartitionsBackup folder in your Internal storage.

    ---

You can find the directory of other partitions with the command ls -la $(find /dev/block/platform -type d -name by-name) and backing them up the same way.

hey guys, I want to root my new OP Nord 2 but as I'm fairly new to the topic I wanted to confirm a few things before proceeding and potentially doing something wrong.

First off: I already unlocked the bootloader and I'm on build DN2103_11_A12.

If I understand the process correctly, the next step would be to patch and flash the boot.img. I've downloaded the archive posted kindly by sakarya1980 on the first page, which also contained the already patched/rooted boot.img for A12, which is the version I'm on. So now I just would have to rename nord2_magisk_boot_A12 to boot.img and flash it using the following while in fastboot mode:
    Code:
    fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta2.img

    Fastboot flash boot boot.img
At this point I'm not sure where the vbmeta2.img and boot.img have to be, but I guess at the location of my adb/fastboot files on my pc?
Are the steps above correct so far or am I missing something?
    Thanks in advance :)
    The steps are correct.
I just reccomend to extract your own boot image with the commands indicated on this post, patch it with the magisk app, and the flash the patched boot image through TWRP. (it's the reccomended way indicated by Magisk dev)
