A message for invitation donors

• Please send invitations according to the list (the person at the top gets the invitation first).
• Please don't post here if you wish to sell your invitation. Be good. Donate it to someone needy.
• If you don't understand who is on the top of the list and to whom you must donate, pass on the donation to me and I will give it to the correct guy. Don't worry, I will give you all the credits for the donation. I am saying this because sometimes there may be a delay in updating the OP and maybe the same guy keeps on receiving multiple invitations until the OP is updated.
• If you give an invitation according to the list, post about it here so that I can add it in the invitation exchange history.
• Send the invitations only through private messages. Don't post the invitations publicly.

A message for invitation seekers

• Please be patient. Everyone eventually will get an invitation.
• Don't sell an invitation after getting it from here. Anyone found doing that will be reported.
• If you requested your name but don't find it in the list, please have a look at this post and request again.
• Once you receive an invitation, please ask me to receive your name from the list.
• If you receive an invitation through this thread, post about it here so that I can add it in the invitation exchange history.

I never did.
But I did order one OnePlus One almost a week back using the international invitation.

Maybe because I'm an existing customer I got a few more invitations. But unlike the previous invitations, this email clearly says that its and India specific invitation.

Can i get one... my Family member are like going crazy jealous on my ONE!!!
They say you dont anything for us... you just keep good stuff to yourself... & One of them is About to clear a Medical Exam.. & he wants One As a Gift!
So his parents are on to me... i have international invite but i need a INDIAN one...I'm ready to share it! (expires in 4days-30nov)

At present, I hope everyone instead of just waiting for an invite are also registered on amazon 1 in a 1000 contest by subscribing to the one subscription. Helps raising chances of getting invite overall.

You can buy an international variant for him as oneplus have said that they will provide warranty for phone purchased outside India. :thumbup:

Yes i know that.... but they dont trust Importing goods! i told them about this Invite that i have...they said get us a indian one....(they are kanjoos )
I bought it internationally like everyone else ...!
I'm surely in a Pickle!

The only advantage I see of the Indian specific invitation is the charger.
With my US purchase I have to use an extra device to connect it on Indian sockets. That's the only drawback.

Apart from that, asking a relative to get it from US or some other country is not only quicker but a cheaper option too. \
But if you don't have anyone living there then yes the Indian specific invitations are your only choice.

Right now there's a forum post saying that they would hand over invites to all those 1000 participants. I am not sure if Ill be getting one as I went the round about way by just subscribing to the mailing list through the amazon subscription setting unlike those who clicked on the link and were automatically added to the subscription.

I'm pretty sure you meant to type Nexus 6. Or else, why would you go for a more than a year old Nexus 5??

Would have loved a Nexus 6 if it was 5.5". But the main problem is price. Though I pay for my own mobile from PlayStore app sales, I still can't justify to my parents buying a 45K mobile

I finally got invite to buy one from the recent amazon contest. Will try to share here if I get invites to share post purchase of the phone. Hopefully it'll be as good a phone as all those clamoring around it say it to be.
