OnePlus8 VZW Bootloader is Not Unlockable

because when installing a rom I have no signal or mobile data... the bootloader worked very well... I only have that problem... please help...

Try a different custom ROM. I'm using Mint Mobile on my IN2019 w/ ArrowOS 12

The problem lies in the ROM itself which is why flashing a Custom ROM is sometimes a 'crap shoot'.

Either flash stock or flash the firmware (of the Original ROM) and then flash the Custom ROM, but does not guarantee with a high success rate.

Maybe, this tool might have saved the day.

Restoring the modem doesn't work... and now when I go back to the factory rom it gives me this problem...

I restored them with the app you mentioned. Of course I made a backup of the stock rom.. I'm a newbie at this

Forego the use of the app to restore.

Decompress each file created by Partition Backup and use fastboot to flash the files.

fastboot flash modem modem.img

You pull those independently from the rom your on. You on stock a11 verizon. ? Do you know anything about the msm tool for each variant of op8? You can open msm tool. Click F8 on pc and get a readback of whatever partions you need. It puts them on the root of your C: drive. If your not real up to date on tool you should read up on it before doing anything to your device. Download and get on pc and make sure you can connect to it. It's more less an anti-brick tool

Do provide more info. No one has provided any guide whatsoever to doing a MSM backup. I read snippets about using f8 key to select partitions and password. I select readback. But ZERO result. Surely it's due to lack of info and steps. I already scoured these damn threads. Do link or provide a guide,

NVM. Apparently phone must remain stuck to usb when rebooting to edl. Last time i used msm i didn't need to do that.

You cannot simply flash a ROM via fastboot on the OP8 5G UW and expect the SIM card to function as this issue has been discussed many times over.
