As of two minutes ago I was able to register for the OneUI 2.0 Beta in the Samsung Members app and am in the process of downloading the update now! I'm running the latest U1 firmware for reference!

Any idea if carrier locked will be able to join?

I haven't seen any info on who in the US is getting beta access so I don't know. However if you really want to try the beta you can do what I did last year when pie was rolling out. You can flash to the U1 firmware even on a carrier locked phone and then you SHOULD be able to register through the Members app. No guarantees though.

Mine is also an unlocked Snapdragon version purchased directly from Samsung. To reiterate what has been said, you can flash the unlocked firmware to your device and pick up the update.

ASHA Support?

Does anyone KNOW if the S9 beta released today (12/11) for the US unlocked S9 includes Android Streaming Hearing Aid (ASHA) support?

I own a pair of Resound LiNX Quattro hearing aids that (according to Resound), have support for Android streaming via ASHA (they state that Android 10 and Bluetooth 5.0LE are required), I know my S9 had Bluetooth 5.0LE, but after installing the beta today, I can't get streaming to the hearing aids to work. I'm thinking that either the ASHA support isn't in Samsung's beta build, or the hearing aid manufacturer doesn't actually support it...

All the settings pages I could find.

It appears Sammobile has taken down the latest CSK1 G960U1 software. Everytime I try to DL it says it's been permanently moved. Does anyone know of another good source for this firmware?:fingers-crossed:

Is this the latest Pie build? If so I suggest Frija. It's a nice little program available here in xda which will download the latest firmware for you. Also much faster than most sites out there for download speed.

Not sure if this will work for me now that I'm reading it over. It appears I would need a 960U1 device to obtain its firmware? I have a 960U AT&T and wanting to flash U1 firmware to get the Beta DL link.

You absolutely can. The devices are the same whether branded or unlocked. I have an AT&T branded 960U and I've been running U1 for well over a year.

Thanks jwzg, I had found those settings, but all of them seem to relate to modifying the speaker outputs -
As an FYI - ASHA is intended to allow synchronized bluetooth connections to two separate devices, a left and a right hearing aid.

On a factory unlocked S9. Installed the beta yesterday. Smooth and easy so far. Nothing too dramatic as far as improvements, really. I think the days are gone when the updates have amazing new features that we've never seen before. But it seems stable, and no glitches yet.

I've noticed an issue for me on the gesture navigation. I've used it since Pie so I'm accustomed to swiping up in different spots to go back or home. On the beta though whatever I have open seems to catch the swipe action In addition to the navigation. So if I have the keyboard open it registers as key strokes. If I have my email open it scrolls through my emails as it closes. This wasn't happening on Pie.

There is a "more options" setting that will allow you to change it to the same swipe gestures as Pie. I wasn't feeling that new fancy left swipe, right swipe deal either.
