Can you tell me where you got the SIM card I got one last year but it wouldn't connect to any network in Ireland, cheers

I dont think you need the card to be active at all, as long as it reports the carrier code, it probably doesnt even need to register.

EDIT: October/AUIE is out. A friendly reminder that flashing the Beta over this one will MOST DEFINITELY NOT WORK.

Depends, if the UK gets AUIE, then gets beta, it'll be the 2nd beta update that gets flashed over AUIE.

This update is rolling out in Germany now, has anyone in Germany who's registered for the beta checked for update?

May do for a few days, when your device no longer shows as certified in the Play Store then it will stop, iof you use it exclusively just makes sure you have your credit or debit card as a backup!
I had the same experience, GPay worked for a day or two, then complained about the device not being certified, and stopped working. Yet my Play Store still shows as certified.
