So unfortunately it is getting very silent in this forum for this device... I hope someone has an idea. - much appreciated!

Today my HTC was very slow and I needed to restart it but unfortunately I only have access to the bootloader by now.

Whatever I choose in the bootloader menu, I came back to the bootloader. I have an unlocked HTC ONE Mini S-ON, HBoot 2.22, OS 4.14.401.1.
Tried last year CyanogenMod but switched back to an original ROM. I have TWRP installed but cant access it. All important functions I choose will bring me back to bootloader menu.

ADB doesnt recognize the phone, but fastboot does. Here are also my getvar infos:

F:\Temp>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 2.22.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: N/A
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 4.14.401.1
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-ON
(bootloader) serialno:
(bootloader) imei:
(bootloader) meid:
(bootloader) product: m4_ul
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8930
(bootloader) modelid: PO5820000
(bootloader) cidnum: HTC__102
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 4310mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: dirty-0e1af350
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 11
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
all: Done!
finished. total time: 0.103s

fastboot commands dont bring any success. E. g. erase cache fails or trying to update things fails, too.
My Win10 PC recognizes the device as "My HTC" when in fastboot USB.

I mean, it was just a restart?! Can someone give me a hint what else I can do?

Same problem for about 8 days and I can not restart it.
I have the same new features and the phone had not done anything, just restarted.
What happened?
You have an expiration date? -_-

Hey, though noone answered till now, I have a short update on that.

I tried to reboot the device continously and after a while it started normally. I thought there are only 2 states - broken or not... Well I was teached myself better.
I can reproduce this behavior. After rebooting the phone it takes several tries until it starts normally. I disabled fastboot but nothing changed.

Still waiting for ideas patiently. :(

Sometimes u have to hold forever. Can u battery pull?
this is from another thread, pertaining to htc desire. but same thing applies to your device
Re: Desire HD dont opening. Please HELP
Can you get into the boot loader? If so, load a hboot image into hboot by renaming the zip to PD98IMG.zip(yours will be different) and placing it into the root of your SD card, then put the SD back into your phone then hold volume down and power

ok. can you somehow power the device off? if so, try a normal boot, then plug in your pc. lets start there...

I have the same problem stucked in fastboot and all fastboot commands are not working
um, you said that it was recognizing the phone. i asked u to type in fastboot devices and you got info. your fastboot and hboot are being recognized by your pc. it is because your bootoloader is jammed that you cant do anything. i suggest you hold power down until the phone turns off....wait a few mins, then try and reboot normally. while it is booting, plug into your pc. you should see something saying "installing drivers" . click on "computer" in your pc settings, and see if you can access the device while its plugged in pc. lets start there
