Hi friends, is there any alternative to activate oem before 7 days? It's been 7 days and the option for me does not appear !!!
Same happend to me:
You have to check that:
1- You have the firmware corresponding to your country, samsung model and/or carrier
2- You have the lastest possible update (through OTA upgrades) (That is to say: if your mobile says there is an upgrade available, upgrade it)
3-You have disabled developer options
Then after you have checked all that then wait the one week.
That worked for me.

I have the OEM unlock option but it is greyed out. I have the unlocked version but according to an app I downloaded through the play store, my phone is a Trinidad model yet I got it through rent a center. Anyway around that?

The fix

To fix the Official Binaries issue...flash back to stock. boot up and skip all the setups. Go to options and set your date back 8 days previous. Go to check software updates and run the check. This creates a time stamp 8 days ago. Go back to General settings and change date to current date. Restart phone go options enable developer mode and you should see OEM unlock. I've reset my phone 10 times in the last 3 days using this method trying to get magisk to work. Good luck.

ODIN MODE
DOWNLOAD SPEED : FAST
NAME: SM-G950F
CURRENT BINARY: CUSTOM
SYSTEM STSTUS : CUSTOM
RMM STATE: PRENORMAL
FAP LOCK: OFF
OEM LOCK : OFF
SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLED
SW REV. CHECKFAIL(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE :2 BINARY :1

I can ONLY boot into download mode.
When switching on the phone , I get the Galaxy S8 logo by Samsung with the red writing on the top:
"Only officiall released binaries are allowed to be flashed"

Flashing original firmware via ODIN just fails.
"Complete (write) operation failed !!" is the error in Odin.

I tried different versions of Odin , original firmware and boot loaders suggested on XDA. All just fails.

So my phoe is just dead.

I had the lasted firmware on ( OTA update about a week ago)

I installed TWRP now , roooted with Magisk , all was fine untill I rebooted the phone.

Please help. What to do now. I need my phone !!!

PLEASE

Go to Sammobile or Updato (i use this because you dont have to pay to get full speed download) download the firmware for your device/country (N950F PTC in my case) and flash it through ODIN...you gonna loose root access and will have to wait 7 days to get the OEM Unlock if you dont have the worst luck like mine.

Some how I goofed and forgot to install rmm fix in twrp recovery after decryting data and installing Magisk. So now after booting the system the OEM unlock is available in developer options but can't be turned on. OEM unlock was on before I downgraded the firmware from Oreo to Nougat.

I assume that now I should wait the 7 days/168hrs correct? If the lock returns what's the safest way to check if the rmm state is normal or can I just boot into twrp recovery an install rmm fix zip?

Any suggestions would be appreciated so I won't have to start over. Thanks in advance.

I would wait the 7 days before rebooting or else you'll likely end up in 'jail'. After that you should be able to toggle it and reboot (at which point you can flash rmm fix just to be safe).

I have the same issue but mine is hopeless case. My phone always display that dreaded error message when I try to open my phone. I tried using Odin to flash the stock versions but when it tries to restart, it shows the message again. Stuck at it. 7days passed still got the same issue. ???

So my phoe is just dead.
I've got this message 3 times and for each I've used Odin3-v3.13.1 started as administrator and I've flashed BL, AP, CP and HOME_CSC as CSC and I've recovered using smart switch and helium for some other applications.

About the jail, set the date manualy 8 days ago, unset automatic software update and reboot.
