So i flashed the ob1 stock boot image and rebooted to system. updating via system update and for some reason it keeps saying installation failed. Any ideas why? How did you go about flashing ob2 since theres no local upgrade feature?

You need to dl that app from oneplus forums. Its ment for rollback mainly. It can easilly be found at ob thread. But no idea, try that app if that works. Sure you need to dl full ob1 first. https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...-for-the-oneplus-9-and-oneplus-9-pro.1502946/

me too. it was saying random **** about color os as well.

I dont know. Thats why I dirty flashed it to avoid issues

It says it's an apk when I download it from the site, but when it downloads, it downloads, it downloads it as a zip. It says it's supposed to install, but it doesn't do anything when I open the zip, it's just a bunch of flashable files.

I'm on OB1 rooted.

I can't download & I stall from settings, since I'm rooted (gets me an error).

I've downloaded the incremental update from Oxygen updater. However there's no option to update locally (manually) from the updater settings?

Are you on TMobile? I can help you obtain full permanent data on OB1/2
