Is there a way to make a boot image from a zimage, without having to compile a ROM? That looks like the reason, it errors out during flashing. If it cant be done, that would make sense why no over clocked kernel for peach/stock/rebel hasn't been made.

Take boot.IMG from your ROM and split it to kernel and ramdisk swap out kernel with zimage and repack

Thanks, unpacking and packing worked great, unfortunately with peach it doesn't boot up; however i suspect i messed up in creating the zimage, so ill have to go back and re do that. Anyway thanks again

Is there a FAQ anywhere?

I ran into a few errors:
can't set custom lockscreen wallpaper
can't set personalized ringtone for certain contacts
does video calling work?

I am trying to make a battery mod in the UOT Kitchen but I run into errors. I used 3.0.7 and 3.1 but it doesn't work. Anyone have any success?

The kitchen just takes 2 files you copied to their site from your phone and modifies the files with the icons you created there. Then just copy them back to original location and check the permissions. It is simple and self explanatory.

Has anyone found a way to set (either in Settings > Display or manually with framework edits) the lockscreen wallpaper on 3.1? I get a FC when I try to set it via Settings > Display

Go to the Google store and get Active Lockscreen. You can user your own pictures or one of their themes for the lockscreen. The lockcsreen also has a very cool launcher.

Thanks..... l am using now.....

Rebelrom 2.3.6 SGH-T679

---------- Post added at 01:38 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:23 AM ----------

Decided not to use ... but the rom jellybean, slimbeam and ICS on my phone eventhough they are very good for its high battery consumption and memory ... with the current rom I have less memory consumption using the same amount of applications and more the battery life ... for me the best rom for this phone are as rebelrom and cm7 gingerbread 2.3.7 ...

I tried Rebel back when I was still on GB, but it had some issues that will most likely never be fixed since no one really develops for GB anymore.

    RebelRom 3.0.7

Ok here it is RebelRom 3.0.7 with fixes,Galaxy Exhibit splash, working update in settings. I first wiped usb in settings to clear out any junk. Then ROM wipe and wipe dalvik cache in CWM. Flash ROM takes a bit of time at startup. Just to be perfectly clear I am not trying to hijack this ROM it is bpears baby I had nothing to do in the development and porting of this ROM we should all give him a big thanks and I know in time he will be back to give us more goodies. Enjoy. Download
