OP3 and 3T Firmware+Modem ZIPs are up!

I may sound a bit overcautious, but I would like to know how to update the firmware first.
I run 15.1 and TWRP 3.2.3-1 on my op3. Do I just download the 5.0.8 zip, put it on my device, boot twrp and flash it like I would flash a new rom or gapps?
Is there a way to determine what Firmware I am on? (I bought the device used and the guy who owned it before switched to Lineageos asap)

Yes, you just have to flash the zip file on TWRP.

try to download the zip again, it may be corrupted

Also, make sure you're on 5.0.8 firmware. That's a minimum requirement since yesterdays LOS build.

Hey guys. I got a used op3 from a friend the issue is when I insert sim it detects the simcard but no signals...I have tried reset and the phone dialer code etc but no success. Will flashing the radio/modem help with it? I just updated it via OTA to the latest offering but same issue. Plz help...

Try the modem + firmware (flash the correct one as per the ROM you use). If not successful, try method 2 of the Mega Unbrick Guide. If neither work, probably a hardware fault.

You don't really have to do that. Just use the muppets device blob git tree in your localmanifest.

Remove your lock screen and flash the latest firmware, then setup the lockscreen password again. Make sure to use the latest TWRP.

The latest version fu**ed me. I removed the lockscreen, flashed firmware, Rom etc. Rebooted, setup my Lockscreen again. It did not apply properly, so I don't have any lockscreen but have to enter my lockscreen pin. If I do it says it failed. Reverted to the older version but it's still ****ed. Seems like I have to clean flash on Easter. Great!!??

You need to delete lockscreen related files at /data/system to setup new password.
