Reflash 5.0.8 FWThe OB40 firmware upgrade broke my encryption too, so I can't start my phone anymore.. Is there any chance to avoid a clean flash?
You need to format data to delete encryption, but you will lose everything on internal memory.I did but it changed nothing

Even if you do not have a password at the boot, it does not mean you're not encryptedI don't have my data encrypted i think (no password on boot and recovery) but my bloader is unlocked. Am i risking loss of data ? (not that it matter a lot, but i don't want to reinstall apps right now)
Check in Settings whether you are encrypted or not. If not encrypted, you have to format /data and all your personal files will be lost. So take a backup.I don't have my data encrypted i think (no password on boot and recovery) but my bloader is unlocked. Am i risking loss of data ? Use fw5.0.8, it's available via first postCan someone plz provide the latest stable released pie firmware+modem for op3
@jokuni I ran into the same issue after updating to the 9.0.3 Pie release. But unlike with you, after I reflashed the 5.0.8 FW and Modem firmware from this thread, I could successfully decrypt in TWRP. So I could save all my data. Great!Reflash 5.0.8 FW
At least you could reflash to 5.0.8 and decrypt via TWRP again.@jokuni I ran into the same issue after updating to the 9.0.3 Pie release. Ok, what I just wrote - unfortunately - is not true. It did say "decryption successful" in TWRP, but when I want to access my internal storage it is listed as empty. Wtf?
