For those who are waiting for a reply, fixes, etc, from Arnova8G2:

I'm told that he was in a motorcycle accident and spent a few days in the hospital. According to his friend, he's using a wheelchair, but will be able to walk again with physiotherapy. For this reason, he will be away from development for a while.

I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Oh my! Thinking of another friend who went through the same and took a long time before he could walk again. The shock of what happened was immense. Hope Arnova pulls through it. I wonder why these things happen to people who contribute their time for the good and benefit of others.

Hey there!
I have some annoying issues for some time now. Maybe someone can help.

The camera starts lagging really hard even before I took a photo. So often I have to hit the home button and wait up to 5 minutes till the phone is usable again.
After forcing the app to stop, it works again for a while.

I got this issue with:
Arnova's v8.3b1
SKULSHADY's 5.1.018_v6
Tolyan's v1.0.10

At the moment I am checking Arnova's 5.1.018_v1.2. No issues yet.

I have a 3t with last LOS version and tried with and without front camera fix.
It also appeared with default settings.

For devices with a black screen use Support level override and made tests with the selections

@nachochiappe, The bug comes with version 5.3, because it is not yet compatible with your device a reboot of the device fixes this bug. in this version I made some modification if this one still produces a logcat.

I don't have time to do tests to find the best settings.

Is it possible to add more values between 10 and 100 for "Custom chroma denoise low/medium/good" light? Like in the Serjo87 test4c mod.
Many users use this denoiser to hide phase detection autofocus dots on yellow and blue objects.

I also had this issue.
Have you, by any chance, flashed mady's kernel?
My issue disappeared by enchantment when I did what Mady recommended, i.e. wiping cache and dalvik BEFORE flashing the kernel.

Not happening there (at least with back camera), using 3T with front camera fix module.
