Hey guys, i was wondering what app do you use for recording video on the op3t, if the stock or one of the mods. I'm asking because sometimes i got weird video (slowmotion problems, weird audio, low fps) and i am not sure if it was because of the app or the phone.

Thanks to the devs, using arnova 8.2 and its working great, this app is making me keep the phone!

Suggested settings are essentially the ones shared by AnyPark on the Telegram group with small changes to my liking. Mine are supposed to be faster and pictures should be more detailed, but also contain a bit more noise and perform worse in very low light (trade off between quality vs speed).

If you're going to use long exposure times, make sure to select the Pixel I (instead of the default Pixel II) to avoid crashes. You also need to select HDR+ ON (HDR off - HDR Auto/ON - HDR+ON/Enhanced).

Over all this seems to be a good update. Maybe a bit slower to start than versions from Arnova, but it's capable of taking good pictures.

Props to Tolyan009 and everyone that tried to find better settings.

@S4turno I think there's a mistake in the OP: the "Arnova's v8.3b1 (2018-09-28)" is the same version of 25th August, it hasn't been updated (same version, v8.3b1), but new date (2018-09-28, today). There's nothing updated, so I think the date would be 2018-08-25 again for that version.

I suspect that you wrongly modified the date of Arnova's date, instead of the Tolyan's date (Tolyan's v1.0.11 - 2018-09-17)...

In Camera settings, go to developer setting and remove the tick for camera.use_photos

I'm constantly getting a Camera error: Can't connect to the camera.
This only happens when I switch to video recording. Everything else is working fine, but I can't record video.

I've tried reinstalling the app, but with no success.

Just a heads up: There's some bug on recent apks from Tolyan009 that produce black and white pictures. The solution is to change something (eg: disable camera sounds), restart the app, and it will work normally.
@Tolyan009 To reproduce this problem: clean install an app (eg: v1.0.12), don't change any settings, and take a picture. I tested a few times and the final picture was always black and white with no colour at all.
