Yes, frontcam fix works properly since it just replaces some libs, slowmo one is different, because it does some stuff to fix SElinux. Planning to rewrite it from scratch to make it work better
Hello! I have an issue with slowmo fix magisk module on Android 10 (LOS/NitrogenOS): if /data is encrypted gcam's slowmo mode can't start (app says "try again"). On decrypted data mode working fine. For now I found an alternative cam from Nokia, where slowmo mode working even without module.
But it would nice if mode was working in gcams out of box.
P.S. In Arnova's modes slowmo working but it is not a "true" slowmo, just low FPS video.

Thank you!

There's no way to get slow motion working on Android 10 (I mean real slowmo not the one you get with some GCams with poor bitrate and framerate) and using the module can only bring additional problems. I advice you to keep using Nokia camera.

This is from Tolyan, shared on 4PDA. It's BSG's v7.4 but with the crash fixed on the OP3/3T.

He says there's nothing new in terms of quality, so you probably shouldn't use it. Just sharing here in case someone needs to test.

No info about the Android version, but I assume it's for Android 10.

MGC_7.4.104_V0a_1.apk
It's still crashing on OP3T / Havoc 3.7

Update from Arnova8G2: GCam 7.3.021

GCam_5.200604.2138build-7.3.021.apk (2020-06-05)
- Changelog + download
- Download mirror

A configs page is available. This version should work on the OP3/3T, but I don't know if it's better than Tolyan's version.

To enable advanced settings, go to Menu > Learn more > Enable Mod. After a restart, a new menu called "Mods Configs Creator" will be displayed.
I always get a popup with this version saying "Device too hot. Exposure controls are limited." (it isn't). Is there a setting to turn this off like the dirty lens warning? I'm really enjoying this version other than this minor annoyance. :good::good:

@the-blind-bandit From here:

Some versions allow users to use instantaneous HDR or fast HDR (name differs between versions). It's fast, but it has a few downsides:

- Worse dynamic range;
- Overheating and battery drain;
- Final file might be different from what you saw;
- This feature works by constantly taking pictures (frames) in the background. Then when the user takes a picture, it uses these old frames to create the final picture.

It's fast to take pictures, but it's not as good as HDR Enhanced, it demands a lot from the hardware (hence the heat and battery drain), and because it uses old frames, your pictures may show what was happening a few seconds before you taking the picture.
Essentially, don't use instantaneous HDR. It's a very demanding feature.

Photos working great.
I'm having some hicups on videos, 1080p.
But I've been having them on previous versions too. I don't know if the problem is on the ROM side, but...

That's certainly it but my device isn't at all hot when using this. It even says it immediately after opening the app so I assume it's not actually based on the temperature ? Anyway, thank you very much, my problem is solved ?

Same here, I never felt my phone was hot, and I'm fairly sure the phone wasn't hot since I wasn't doing anything (don't play games) when I launched the camera app and got the warning.

However, I noticed after going into Settings and turning off the Instant HDR+ feature, I was still getting some kinda "video" effect with my photos.

Do I have to turn off HDR completely?
