use a root file explorer, delete the files /System/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar and /System/etc/permission/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml.
And enjoy
You are truly a lifesaver. Cheers! It works now.

2017/11/03 – GCMod5 based on Mod By B-S-G (GCam5.1.014-Arnova8G2-v9.1.apk)
Fixed blur in photos

Image compression default ~4Mo
Image Hdr+ compression 95% ~6Mo
Image Hdr+ witch motion photo ~13Mo

Motion photo for Oreo ( config camera hdr+ : Pixel 2017 work HDR+ on or off)
To display the photo motion in the gallery, activate in : developer setting > camera.use_photos (google photo).
To enable the HDR+ UI button: Settings > Advanced > HDR+ control

DOWNLOAD
No clear data/cache after installation and force closes

Motion Photo does not work on nougat.
The app crashes every time I will open it. I tried possible fix 1 and 2 from op, but it doesn't work. Hal 3 is enabled.
The latest version that works for me is MGC_4.4.20_7.0H_C2API_v.4.0_AllinOne_Full_Manual.
My OS is Ground Zero Validus 8.0.

Does anyone have a tip for me?

I saw that one. Well, I understand that You don't want to spend time to tell about settings or explain something. But can You please tell me what "Default" setting in "HDR+ parameters" is? Is it just some value, or is it a variable, and why we shouldn't use it? Or should?
to describe it simply
Model: is the image processing by the google device
Config camera HDR+: is the HDR+ processing by the google device
HDR+ parameters: HDR+ imagereader image count, HDR+ burst frame count, Buffers size ect...
Default = the parameter values described above and use in the original app

Modded Google Camera 5.1.014 Version 9.1

The second one ends up crashing when you take pictures of bright things. To reproduce: force HDR+, take a picture of your computer screen.

It seems to work on other devices, but creates some issues on the OP3/3T.
Seems to work fine with the LGV20 which has the same camera and snapdragon chipset, and yes I know this is not the LGV20 forum, just my 2 cents worth.
Try the following:
Model Pixel 2XL Or Pixel XL (corr) seems when this is set to Nexus 6P it will not work
config camera HDR+ Nexus 6P (Max = Super High) You might have to use Nexus6 HDR+ Auto Zsl (or Nexus6 HDR+ Auto)
HDR+ parameter=Super High with above config camera HDR+ = Nexus 6P (Max= Super High). if you have to use the Nexus6 settings, go with HIGH settings, seems to work better with Nexus6 setting for config camera HDR+....
Try these settings, they might work for you too.
Anyway a really good article for people to read on how this works, meaning the App itself.

Hi ! What your preferred ? Op camera Gc v4.4 & Gc v8.1v
https://forum.xda-developers.com/v2...talled-hdr-t3655205/post74329756#post74329756

I did the same tests which you did with the LGV20 using version 4.4.20 and GC v 9.1, if you follow the above link you will see my pictures, and settings for both versions when testing, I know this is not the LGV20 forum, but the OP3/OP3T use the same snapdragon 820 chipset and the same sony 16 megapixel camera, the OP5 settings don't work with my LGV20, only the OP3 do. So I would think it would work for your device. :fingers-crossed::good:

Yeah but needs a little work on focusing hoping it can use the laser guided focus then it can tramp the original camera for v20

I would think it is using OIS, laser, and phase autofocus.
Since it's a port of the GC Pixel 2 Xl. It has all three, so does the OP3. Only way to find out would be contacting the developer, who is modding this.
Arnova8G2 could you verify this?

I fail to understand why are you both talking about laser autofocus on a thread for a phone without laser autofocus. Please use the thread on the V20 forums to discuss stuff like this...

We have different phones with different hardware. Some of the settings that work on the V20 don't work on the 3 and 3T (and vice versa), so sharing them here will just make life difficult for OP3/3T users.

Want to ask something to Arnova8G2? Send him a private message or mention his username on the V20 thread.

Hey there,

I just created a new branch on Github which is more OnePlus3 focused and highlights the changes made by B-S-G for GoogleCamera 5.1.014 up until v1.3, followed by @Arnova8G2 releases. This way, we can learn from what both of them did. All credits go to these two people. Btw, there is no malicious shellcode anywhere in these changes.

cheers, glad
Hey again,
I just added a Makefile and the necessary build-tools to allow for easy building of the signed APK. As of now, building the APK is as easy as running:
Code:
make
cheers,
glad

Yeah sorry about that, just ignore us if can be. I'm just amazed that this camera mods works better that our stock camera app. Again, sorry.
