I can see that U have "iYTBP" which is a modded youtube-application, how du U explain this?
EDIT: I also runni´´n CNP (with Flash Kernel 3.14) which is a beast combo!

I apologise im not using any placebo apps like Greenify to achieve this, which is more cases drain battery that actually help.
Also I don't use apps like Facebook/Messenger/Snapchat etc. So I must be a child for not using such social media battery hogs

I can't get Youtube red in my country yet I pay for Google Music. I think I'm allowed PiP
So you tell us that your phone can have over 15 hours of screen time? More than my tablet with 8000mah battery.. Yes it's possible, if you just have the screen on, without doing anything.
I don't rly get why ppl are salty bc this dude achived 8h SOT just using 2 apps which he has blacked out. Impressive but not unachiveable.
The SOT is superb on this phone althogh notably worse on 8.0 and 8.1 in comparison to Nougat mainly due to idle battery drain, , 10 hours SOT over 2 days was a breeze for me, reason being was the lack of major battery killers like Facebook and the like running in th background, coupled with little to no apps running at all and a very light well kept system, only one screen in use instead of several, no live widgets, no AV, always clean flashed, decrypted and with the stock kernel on a stable ROM
Greenify and other battery savers I've never used and haven't had much luck with them anyway.
I was ablet to get them numbers without trying.
That being said, anyone able to achieve those levels of longevity either was in a similar situation or was only running apps that had a minimal impact on the battery, ie: reading, pics, browsing, email, very very few apps used for 10 hours non stop will allow such usage.
In my case I was using wordscapes as well as WhatsApp and some light browsing, calls /texts, which at the time was very light on battery usage.
All that being said, it really doesn't matter what SOT anyone is getting it's almost certainly more than they were getting on any previous devices and lastly it doesn't merit the flaming and hostility that it's now causing in this thread
If you think someone is being smug then ask them what main app they're using, use their experience, chsnces are it's a singular app the same as it was for me "wordscapes" anything else for extended periods of time put me under the 10 hour threshold.

Brightness adaptive.

Help eachother, you'll achieve a lot more that way.

For me,oreo(8.1) has been the best in terms of battery life.I used to get about 7.5 hr SoT on an average while I was on Nougat.On Oreo,I get about 8.5-10 hr SoT.My 4g mobile data is almost always on.I use apps like WhatsApp,Insta,few games(No Facebook).No ****ty battery saving mods such as greenify or Amplify installed.I rarely use GPS so location and wifi scanning is off for most of the time.My idle drain has been 2-3% overnight (Oreo 8.1,7-8 hrs of sleep)
That being said,I'm quite happy with the battery life this phone provides.

Why are people being salty just because one has achieved exceptional battery life?Everyone's usage pattern is different lol.Even the surrounding temperature can have an effect on your battery life.If you are so concerned about your poor battery life.use apps like BBS to see which apps or wakelocks are draining your battery.
Agreed, the phone I think regardless of user or apps is still way way above the competition and for people obtaining freakishly long SOT time, they've probably got a unique set up and or strict usage patterns which promote battery life (intentionally or not)
If someone is having sub par battery life, explain what your set up is, use BBS, make a clean install, avoid titanium until you know what the culprit is, clean up your memory on your phone of anything not needed prior to flashing, use the stock kernel.
That way others can help as there are less variables, in fact chances are if you do the above you'll probably fix the battery issues yourself by identifying the issue.

Been sitting on Hydrogen OS 7.1.2 version 18. Usually get 10 hours sot or about 8 if i do my normal usage. Which involves me leaving the thing off the charger for a couple days at a time.
Of course! Bad signal means the amplifier needs more power which is directly related to more battery drain.
Do you know if it matters the data option 2g-4g when I am on wifi? Does it affect battery even if I have mobile data off? I guess yes, cause it's still matters for phone calls?

Currently on 34% Vs 11 hours 5 mins SOT
Going to let it go down to 8-10%
