OP5 original vs. 3rd party dash charger, original working or not?

Hey all,

I recently bought a dash charger straight from oneplus since the 3rd party charger that came with my phone no longer works. After checking via accubattery app, dash charging isn't working on my device (currently running Nitrogen OS btw). However, I decided to also get a 3rd party dash charger from Rexin via Amazon. After looking at the charge speeds and currents for a few days, this 3rd party charger dash charging capabilities do work!

According to oneplus, you need to be running latest oxygenOS for dash charging to work. However after this experiment, I doubt it'd make much of a difference. Then again I just know how to flash and install stuff lol. Trying to figure out whether I should figure out a way to return the original charger if the software wont make much of a difference. Thoughts? Would stock OOS really make that big of a difference?

OP devs are just answering from a script. Dash does work on Custom ROM. Only thing is you need to know the difference in the voltage and ampere flukes.
