If you are rooted,flash the whole OTA via TWRP.
Only stock/unrooted OOS should flash an incremental OTA.

Hi,
yes, dirty flash is safe, no data lost :good:
But dont forget to flash rom+root and wipe cache & dalvik only, if you wipe system you need to re-flash twrp and if you don't flash root, you'll lose twrp and root (aka stock rom with stock recovery and without root).
