Question OP9 Pro 12/256 missing 5G option

I have OP9 pro, 12/256, LE2123. Updated to their most recent Oxygen OS.
For some reason the "preferred network" is stuck on 2g/3g/4g.
I succeeded in changing it by using the *#*#4636#*#* method, but it keeps snapping back now and then.
Is there any solution?

Almost sounds like it's kicking off global to an LTE/cmda mode. Not sure . I have the op9 and haven't ever had issues and on Verizons networks.

Having the same issue. Using global ver...

I think it's a carrier issue, i called and they informed me it will be available 2 months from now. Happened last year with the op8pro and will always happen.

I was talking to OnePlus guys last fall (2020) for OnePlus 8 Pro. No 5g in settings > network.
They say it will be fixed in future updates.
Still waiting..., 9 pro show up, still waiting..., still waiting...

On my oneplus 8 pro, if you don't have contracted 5g with your mobile company, 5g option is hidden on settings...
