Yes, looks like it was in fact removed from source. When I try to manually input it back in, syncing repository takes it right back out. I will put it back in after syncing repo on next update. That will fix the problem.

That's because things changed with crDroid source and I tested, and there are issues if your not. Sound and call issues on F.21

This ROM is really tempting me to finally ditch stock. I have flashed ROMS on all previous devices and also why I bought my 9pro on day 1. Then I never did more than unlock bootloader, root, and played with some kernels. Looks like great work @TheSayaMan !
Just installed this Rom and have no sound when trying to play music. I have tried the built in music player, VLC, and N7 players all see the files and start to play but no sound. I have no sound in any app or ringtones it like the speaker do not work

2I tested a clean install on this as much as I didn't want to because now I have to set everything back up again and it booted up fine. The culprit is that crDroid reduced the system size so I unfortunately had to remove Google Contacts, Google Dialer and Digital Wellbeing. You can install them all in the play store so that's the way it will have to be unless the system partition is increased. I even tried to increase the size of the system before building by entering export WITH_GMS=true into the terminal. Unless your a dev, you have no idea what I'm talking about, but that didn't work so I'm stuck for now. Maybe this will change in the future, we will see.

After initial boot, reboot to recovery and sideload magisk.zip and you will be good. If yesterday's build fails a clean install, then use the previous one from 09/01 then dirty flash the 09/23 update and you will be good to go.1
I understand and I do too. I don't like clean installs either for that reason so I leave it to others to report that or other issues.No, I just dirty flashed and it works fine. I'm hoping that clean flash should also works fine with this build. Didn't try clean flash as I have to backup and restore too much data and unfortunately haven't found any one click solution for restore

You will have to root again after a dirty flash. If you need to clean install, try the 09/23 build from yesterday and let me know if it boots up.1
I'm pretty sure you need to set everything up then dirty flash. I along with others had no issue with a dirty flash. I dirty flashed no problem. -

WatchDogs is a ROM I created based on LineageOS & crDroid source & dependencies and I thank them for its use. SafetyNet and CTS passes whether your rooted or not. Modules not required.
Before you begin, if you don't have the latest platform tools installed on your windows machine. Download it here:

Flashing Instructions
First time installation (clean flash):
This update requires 13.1.0.590(EX01). Use the firmware listed below
Backup your data
Download the ROM, and firmware flasher listed further down on this post and place all in your platform tools folder,
Extract all the contents in platform tools, Firmware flasher in folder.
You must flash firmware in the bootloader. Boot to recovery and factory reset then adb sideload
adb sideload Watchdogs-13.0-20230925-lemonadep.zip
Reboot to system
reboot to recovery if you want root
adb sideload magisk.apk or adb sideload magisk.zip
To remove orange state warning on boot up, go here:
Update installation:
TWRP SUPPORTS UPDATES. SIMPLY BOOT TO TWRP AND INSTALL UPDATE.
Updates can be also sideloaded with custom recovery. Updates do not appear in system updater.
