After EDL I am not allowed to update C47 keeping OEM LOCKED

I tried by ota updates
I tried by moving saved zip and local update

from A11.2.2.2. to A11.2.10.10 no problem apparently

from 2.10.10 to c47 no way to make it running except via twrp, but this means oem unlock that i want to avoid
once c47 installed noway to me for restoring "oem lock" i always have the message "boot/recovery" destoried when device auto-starts formatting as soon as i press enter

someone can help me?

Just dropping this here in case anyone runs into a similar issue. I kept getting stuck at the part where it's flashing super.meta or super something (can't rememeber exactly). I was getting an error like "SHA256 check failed". All it took to fix it was re-download the program (and maybe make sure you don't rename it but not sure if that's what caused the error the first time).

anyone came across hard break such that computer does not recognise the phone (yes tried on multiple pcs and cables and qualcomm drivers installed) - problem is device manager does not see phone at all so no chance of entering msm.

any suggestion short of taking back to manufacturer?

Installed qualcomm USB drivers with "driver signature disabled" on PC? Chance you are not in edl mode yet...hold three buttons down to get to fastboot mode, if on Android 11, fastboot boot twrp temporarily and the tap on boot the select edl mode. If driver signing is disabled, there will be a watermark lower right corner stating windows is in test mode....

sadly the phone does not respond on all button combos... will take a look at 'disable signing' now, but msm worked before bricking - so it was sure to have worked before...

So I bought the "OnePlus 9 Pro 5G Unlocked Pine Green 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage" directly from OnePlus for the US market and immediately installed LineageOS 18.1. From what I understand I need to go back to OxygenOS and ultimately get to 12 before I can install LineageOS 19.1 due to qualcom firmware.

Here's my confusion:
1) My build number in the OS shows LE2123, however the sticker shows LE2125, so I'm not sure which version to go with.
2) I see that the firmware offered in the OP is 11.x. Do I need to go back to 11.x and let OnePlus update my phone to 12.x OTA, or can I find the latest stock 12.x firmware and go directly there?

You have a Global ROM phone version with EU ROM installed (maybe it did that automatically when you set the phone country). There is not a A12 ROM from MSM tool, so you have to install A11 and upgrade after. Just set the phone (google account etc), after the upgrades. When on last A12 ROM, do a factory reset, and you'l have a clean and almost bug free OOS12

Thanks, that's exactly what I did. Wiped with MSM, did all the upgrades to OOS12 and then reimaged with lineageos 19.1. Happy with the result so far.

I would like to add my experience with using the MSMTool (TMO).

The tool works great as designed.

I accidentally bricked my device when I dirty flashed another kernel on top of arter97's kernel on OOS. Dummy me.

I was having a problem with getting my relic of a laptop (Gateway E-475M) to recognize the phone while in EDL. I downloaded and installed the recommended Qualcomm drivers. It would show up in device manager as the 9008. But, windows10 had a problem with driver that I installed and the MSMTool was constantly waiting on the device. I could not use an OEM OP cable since my laptop does not have Type-C. My previous OP cables (Type-A to Type-C) are MIA. I tried multiple work-arounds on trying to get Windows10 and the MSMTool to recognize it; to no avail.

On a hunch, I decided to reinstall W10, then reinstall the Qualcomm driver. Voila! It worked and the MSMTool recognized the phone in EDL Mode.

Sometimes, you just need a clean install of W10.

Does anyone know a way out of the India variant? I converted my t-mobile to India and didn't realize when I updated to android 12 that my mobile data and cell connectivity would not work. Basically no sim detected issue. I tried the magisk module and that fixed the data issue but still can't make or receive phone calls. I can't use the tmobile, eu, or Global msm because I get a unsupported device error and target error. Because I'm on India Firmware, I'm stuck and I've been trying 3 days. It's not that I'm not trying. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well I was able to go from India to Global but I can't seem to get back to T-mobile no matter what I try or do. I can't get sim detected so India, Europe and Global are useless for me. Wish I knew this before I converted. Now I can't go back.

By using these tools, you accept full responsibility for your actions. Your warranty is void should you run any of these utilities without OnePlus support present. I am not responsible for bricks, fires, nuclear war, etc.

If you modified any partition not touched by MSM, namely param and persist but there are others, you face a possibility of a hard brick. MSM will reset your "Enable OEM Unlocking" in dev settings and you might get a corrupt boot. Restore your backups before attempting. That said, If all you just tried to convert a ROM using OTA payload.bin, you should be fine.

I've noticed that there is a bunch of loose threads with MSM tools posted, and some revisions still don't have it available. I decided to put them all in 1 place.

If you don't know how to use these utilities, see https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4180837/, as the instructions are the same.

You can't get to c.19 by doing that, I learned the hard way. You need to msm back to Android 11 and only let it update to c.16 and NOT c.17. You have to use local upgrade with the c.19 incremental update to go from c.16 to c.19. You will also need to turn wifi and mobile data off when you do local upgrade to c.19 or the update will not show up!!!

inadvertently flashed the India MSM tool, now I can not use the TMO MSM tool because of "unsupported TargetID IN"......how to correct the "TargetID" to get back to stock?
You can't change your ID after doing that but you can still get back to T-Mobile stock by using the India back to stock tool. You can delete the T-Mobile msm tool from your computer because you can't ever use that again. It's impossible to change your target back. Also keep in mind that the T-Mobile boot screen will not be present but its still T-Mobile stock other than that.
    1
If the India MSM tool changed the TargetID why can't the Global MSM change it as well? Only seems logical.
I used the India tool and it didn't change mine. Its still EU. I'm guessing it gets changed once and that's it because the EU was the first one I used to convert my T-Mobile variant.

Did you ever get back to T-Mobile?
Yes, I got help from another XDA member

    Hi!
Just in case, if there is no mirrors/server down on the site androidfilehost.com and onepluscommunityserver.com .Taken from xda or reddit.
https://darkwolf24th.ru/nextcloud/index.php/s/igfrrCNaRdCDzTy the term is indefinite and unlimited speed in Russian (depends on the region). Max speed 700Mbit.
    Good luck.
