[OPENBETA] [APP][4.1+] Calendar Widget

Hi there - I've been using this great app from the beginning and just signed up for tasks. Really well done. The source calendar integration is a bit puzzling to me. I see many options to select in the widget, and quite a few of those don't show up in the Google Calendar. But most important, I have a holiday calendar setup as an Other Calendar in Google, and I can select it to display in the widget, but the events don't show up. Why is this happening?

thanks for your message and your nice feedback. Happy to hear that you like the app! Regarding your question: Do you see those events in your calendar app? I guess you do not sync this calendar to your device and therefore there are no events available for the calendar. You can choose which calendars to sync via the Google Calendar App.

Yes I see the events on the Google Calendar both on Android and on the web. And as I mentioned, in the widget config I can see the holiday calendar I want and I have it selected. And yes I am syncing the calendar in question.

If events are synced on your device, they should appear in the widget. You may also double check, that you show all-days events (adv. settings - show all day events).

All google calendars are handled the same way. So there is actually no reason why the widget would show events for one calendar but not for another. Therefore I suggest that you double check your configuration.

Yes I'm showing all day events. I've fixed it by deleting the cache and storage in both YCW and Google calendar. Once I setup the calendar and widget again I can now see the holiday events I was looking for. Thanks for your responses Manuel.
