Witty decision bro ! Even micromax and lenovo threads have much more developments than this. Looks like the devs are really not interested in this device and if this is the case, we did a huge mistake of buying it.
But just wondering, what's stopping them ? Where are they stuck ? Does it really take more than 3 months for a single usable custom rom for a device ? I believe you will have no surprises for this device on xda in near future and then it will remind me of my older device coolpad cool 1
Even if there's no official build when 7x gets oreo you always flash the treble build

The treble beta is just around the corner, it doesn't make sense to fix the remaining bugs with the Nougat base.
You obviously don't understand the nature of this unofficial builds, so I won't answer to those last questions, try and see by yourself.

Firstly I would like to thank the Devs for working on the project.
And yes I agree with you patience is needed Until 8.0 bases are built it can't be given for testing.

No it doesn't. But...
Huawei has traditionally bring treble support with 8.0 upgrades
And
Even if there's no treble, it's still better to work on 8.0 codebase

Might want to wait for oreo update. OP has stated that he is waiting for Oreo base before updating the rom.

Yesterday update to beta oreo in Spain at the moment I can not find any error and in performance issue is very similar to nougat.

Thanks a lot for developing this. This saved me after I bricked my BND-L24 US variant. Just can't wait to get hold of the stock rom because I desperately need to use the camera .

I got the beta through the Huawei beta app having enrolled in the beta program.
