Sorry for late.
Recent days I am busy because My company is a major change in job.
So I reply your comment very late. I AM SORRY.
Can you for me your facebook?
At VietNam, we always use facebook for comments because it is popular and convenient. Beside, It can comment and reply faster than xda.
I am writing a letter for you. I hope you can read it when you have free time.
Thanks

Porting works but TWRM does not start

I have tried to porting a original recovery.img from a MTK6589 Phone HaiPai N7889 with porting tool.
Method 1 automatically
Method 2 manual

Both the tool generate e new recovery, img. Because the size is bigger as 6.1444kByte a have increase the recovery size like 1 MByte (whole 7MByte), Now a use a smaller SEC_RO.

If the new generated flash back to the phone, th phone works fine still. But...
I can not boot in the TWMR. The boot logo is freezed,

Any Idea? Please help.

Yeoh bro, this thread is about rewarding our MTK DEVs for job well done either via monetary by hitting the DONATE button, hitting the thanks button & giving moral support for them to continue working on MTK SoC & what your asking is completely off-topic...

BACKGROUND: TCL Y910 (HERO) 4core at 1.5GHz, with ROOT and recovery Stock (no backups, etc.), THERE THE SLOT SD, so only internal partitions.

Completed all phases and created the modified CWM occupying the same stock of MB, mounted starts (which is already a great thing because the CWM present in the forum will not start and gives me white screen) but I wrote that the file is missing .log and I do not back up, because it can not access the external memory, I do not even mount the external memory (obviously does not see the phone's memory as external, or the CWM only works with phones that have microsd).

Is there a way to deal with them? For me it would be important to install gapps (I'm no market accounts and sync phone useless ..) otherwise I fleshare a new ROM but it is a bit risky because the backup MTKDroid gave me a bit of trouble logging (all the files there I have done well and the zip) and I would not want that at the time of need is not working at all.

Thanks

If Twrp probably wrong res file or the recovery.img is too large for the partition. :(
See dev @yuweng thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2798257 :good:

Also see dev @carliv thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2471479 :good:

Hi bigrammy,
I have made also one other way to understand well...
I have only decompile and recompile without any mod ... But is the same... After reboot in recovery... The phone remain in white screen....
In this phone mtk 6595...there aren't ebr file and the partition is only one.
And the sd card(internal memory) there isn't at all.... So could be this mistake that block the boot into the white screen recovery?

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

All the Dev's you listed should get a donation for there help and hard work. I cannot guess how many hours of there time these guy's give freely so to give a little support buying them a Pisa or a beer while they are stuck to the PC scripting away is the least we can do :good:

At the company i work for, use the keyword how many manhour have you use for this project, where is the cost center for this job while these great DEVs, just as above bigrammy says, they do it for free so i guess its time to full swing Operation RMD...

My 9 to 5 job, i deal with automation system that involves 80% hardware & 20% simple logic programming so its easier for me to pick up MT65xx SoC than normal users....

As said, i'm not a DEV & i donno how to write codes, only manage to KANG one or two script...
