Yeah, that's why every. other. carrier. in the US has locked Motorola bootloaders, too. *rolls eyes*what is the point of this? if it's about the bootloaders try spamming Verizon instead as Motorola has already announced that the bootloaders are locked at the discretion of carrier
Worldwide, actually.Yeah, that's why every. other. carrier. in the US has locked Motorola bootloaders, too. *rolls eyes*
500 signatures, I guarantee you, were not what persuaded anyone. It was the attack launched on HTCs social media, and they did not mention Verizon once in their (many) announcements.The reason htc devi es were unlo kex was because they petitioned verizon

~~~or so they claim~~~Verizon will not allow the unlocked bootloaders on there network bc it creates security issues.
+1 on that. they wanted to replace my bionic with a revolution/TB/ or charge. Filed a complaint with BBB and they offered the rezound or Razr.I agree, cell providers DEFINITELY listen when you file an FCC or Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint. I filed one against Sprint for ETF reasons and I got a phone call from the CEO's office... It is a good way of being heard.
Really? LG Revolution, Samsung Charge, Nexus, now the Rezound and TB just to name a few.Verizon will not allow the unlocked bootloaders on there network bc it creates security issues.
Its not VZWs fault. Just a way of Moto trying to pass the blame.But if it's Verizons fault for locked bootloader on Razr, why are all, worldwide, non-Verizon phones locked too?
