Nope. Every now and then I find some notifications went silent for some reason, despite turning off battery optimization for the app and so on.
The Do Not Disturb is BS... it rings and plays notifications anyway...

I haven't tried it... I actually never extended any of my mobile phones to connect to an external display so... Dunno. What about video out? Can you connect it to an external monitor, using a USB type C to HDMI? Because on the previous Find N no HDMI out via the USB, only when using docks compatible with DisplayLink.
I've been watching reviews of this phone and reading up about it. This is why I prefer reading about people's experience and real world reviews as most reviewers won't pick up on something so important as DND mode.Nope. So far DND works for me. No notifications sound.I've been watching reviews of this phone and reading up about it. This is why I prefer reading about people's experience and real world reviews as most reviewers won't pick up on something so important as DND mode.
Can you confirm that silent mode at least works instead or is there a way to global disable all notification sound and vibration from every app at once but allow the notif icons etc to show up like in silent mode.
On Xiaomi we have this feature where you can enable DND but allow ring sound for phone calls always regardless of DND. That's one feature I like on my Mi 9.
Also does Google find my phone work on it? With the aggressive app closure of coloros I'm hoping things like GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi etc can be left on at all times. As I do this on my Mi 9 and still get a full days battery use.
The screen on the left of home screen, can you customise that enough to get rid of the Chinese texts and messages or overwrite that with Google discover instead somehow?
May I ask where you ordered from I'm in the UK and wanted to order from trading Shenzhen but they don't have the white version available which I would like. If the black version was glass I would have ordered that instead. The greens out of the question not my colour. Also warranty giztop states they provide ones years repair warranty I think or defect warranty.

Yes, there is a pre applied screen protector on the inside and outside.. while the one outside can be removed without issues, u should NEVER remove the inside one because doing so well kill the screen immediately.. I know someone who removed the inner screen protector on their Find N n it killed 80% of the screen n cracked the UTG down the middle..Hi, I just got my N2 a couple days ago and can't stop thinking if or if not there is a pre installed screen protector on the inside? It feels like it but I know some foldables had the issue that the screen felt like it's a protector while in fact it was the screen.
Can anyone clarify the situation for me ? Thanks in advance
Hey ! Are you still happy with it? How is battery life? And can see if google pay works on it?Yeah got the phone alright
Works great and it's quite impressive really in terms of size, usability and all... I am happy. Pretty sad that Oppo doesn't release it globally - it would definitely smash the sh1zl3 out of Samsung.
What would you like to know about the phone?
I've had mines since last week of December. Google pay works in the US, phone is still awesomeHey ! Are you still happy with it? How is battery life? And can see if google pay works on it?Thanks
Thank you for your feedback ! I ordered one from WondaMobile ! cant wait to receive it ! If someone need info from a europe/french perspective i would gladely help !I've had mines since last week of December. Google pay works in the US, phone is still awesome
It does miss notifications sometimes but that's the case usually with all these imported phones and battery life is crazy! Easily lasts me more than a day with light usage, a full day with heavier usage (using both inside and outer screen)
Yes im also looking for the global ROM version. The theme store is in Chinese and i can't pay for anything. Can't use nova launcher. Swipe down is all Chinese. Don't have a region button to switch to English. I need a global version rom downloadI got the green one. I'm coming from a rooted Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. At first, it got super annoying going back to the CN strict-heavy rom but, it doable in the US
Cons:
- Launchers still don't work without work around.
- Google messages doesn't send messages to non-RCS users if you send a message with hot words that have to do with money.
- Only 5 apps can be locked (running fully in the background, auto startup from boot) at a time.
- Even if notifications are set AND you chose to never revoke access, some apps still won't send notifications unless you mess with the setting again (usually toggle on/off)
-default messaging app doesn't allow group sms (all messages are recieved separately)
Pros:
- super duper compact and perfect in every way (hardware wise)
- 5g is a major go (reason why I sold my first oppo find n)
- everything else not listed above runs super smoothly (in California, on TMobile)
- Pictures are really good and videos too
I have my Xiaomi watch running on it fine, when my notifications don't work on the phone sometimes, it always does on the watch.
Unboxing was crazy, holding the little green hulk felt perfect. Really hope a global rom gets released or someone finds a way to root this phone.
u need to remove the original phone app or else CN rom always try to default back to their original app..I juste received mine and I'm very pleased with it for now, despite of the few constraints we know thanks to the Chinese software.
I just tried to change the phone app by default. I would like to set the Google phone app by default. Unfortunately, each time I receive a call, I have the ring song but the screen does not turn on. I have to unlock it, and touch the notification to launch the call, which is very annoying...
I gave all the permissions I could to the Google phone app...
Is there a way to make it turning the screen on when someone calls me so that I can directly reply or deny easily by swiping?
Ok cheers for that info - how about VoLTE (on Telstra in Australia)?
I'm using Waze with Deezer connected to the app without any problemDid you get Android Auto to work without rooting? Or any other app to play music in your car via Bluetooth?

Honestly, it's up to preference. The price for N2 and Mix Fold 2 are more or less the same. Which do you prefer? Really tempted to order one of these two foldables.
The mix is way bigger but still feels good to hold because how thin it is. It does feel a bit more slippery though because if the glass like back. The oppo N2 has the Matt black on the green one which is good but because the speakers both face down, you have to hold it a certain way so that it does not block the speakers. Thanks for this informative reply. Some follow up questions. Which of the two is more comfortable to hold when unfolded? Which one do you think is more robust/less fragile?
