Ok my s4 works really nice , but I,m not using Gapps , I use Aurora Store and have little issues ,Is V8 on the way , was about to make a new video about S4

since time flies and as you know i work (on ROM dev) alone 4 years now, i think i am a bit tired...i dont know if i can keep doing it alone. if you know any other dev (or at least a github user who can help me with some cherrypicks/merges) please tell him to send me.i need hands and help...

V7 on i9508 (China mobile variant of i9505) will show error 1 when installing, any idea? Thanks!

got it working by deletling all the model names and stuff before the ASCII art
Just curious, why are those text there if they could cause trouble?
to check if your device is really compatible with the ROM. if you for example install an I9515 ROM on an I9505 and the assert isn't there, it can lead to a hard brick

Had a similar or even the same problem.
In my case it was the FS2S data partition. However, the kernel used here apparently expects ext4 data partitions.
I was also only able to use ext4 file systems as system partition.
Since the S4 Galaxys are already 10 years old, they are now gradually wearing out due to broken internal memory cells. Therefore, I usually try to use the less write-intensive FS2S file system (in terms of self-managing) to gain some remaining time in this problem. -
