Lets start a thread for people to post up screen shots of there ROM, Launcher, App Drawer, Lock Screen, Etc. I know for me when I flashed and customized my ROM looking at other members and peoples screens and customizations really helped fuel my own idea for what I wanted it to look like. So post away!

NOTE: PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR ROM, LAUNCHER APP, THEME, AND ANY OTHER CUSTOMIZATIONS THAT YOU ADDED.

Custom IHO build w/custom splash screen (replaces 2nd LG logo)
Theme is the same as I used on Harmonia, Launcher Pro with custom bits and parts here and there (parts minus wallpaper can be found in the Harmonia thread). The lock screen is using Widget Locker (handy as you can use the status bar pull down in lock mode) and the weather widgets are Beautiful Widgets with Beautiful Animations.

Looks awesome! Now how does one set up a splash screen like that? I know to change boot animation buy not second LG symbol.

Sent from my LG Optimus V running CM7 REMIX RED

There are a few tutorials, but they aren't easy.

First you have to convert the image to RLE, which can be a hassle in itself. There are lots written about making RLE files, some work, some don't. It took me a bit to find a system that worked and even longer to find a method that I liked. Getting it into the kernel however, is even more difficult. I'm sure somewhere is a decent method, I took a different route and set up a spare computer to compile nightly IHO builds and inserted it there, then just flashed the new rom. Yes, I built a rom just to carry my new splash screen. :D

Either method is not something you can knock out in 10 minutes.

I'm too minimalist for this thread. I use Launcher Pro and each icon has a swipe action so I don't have extra icons on the desktop. The only widget I may use is the precanned news & weather and use a blackish wallpaper.
When I was feeling frisky I'd use Minimalistic Text widgets but I end up saying to myself "It's just a phone" and stay pretty stock. Plus, things like battery and time widgets seemed silly when it's already there in the status bar. Putting a percentage for battery just nags my OCD and I'm constantly trying to tinker with battery saving every time I look at my phone.

This is my build of IHO dated 08132011. Default ADW launcher with Dock icons from Gingerbread ADW theme and battery icon on status bar from UOT kitchen. I like to stay as close to stock as possible. Email is actually K9 using the stock icon. I know, the battery level on the widget and status bar are not the same :)
