You have to flash a firmware that follows the path to AQGL (Tmobile doesnt, but unlocked and ATT do). Flash through Odin unless you are already on the right branch. Then just start updating via OTA or recovery until you are kn AQGL and then apply the beta update through your SD card or adb.

I seem to have the ATT Message Backup and Sync greyed out the in Messages -> Settings - any idea how to reactivate this? I'm not able to sync back my messages.
Flashed the AT&T firmware but after flashing the beta I'm just stuck on the galaxy s8 logo. Help anyone?
So where are we reporting some of the bugs seen in the AT&T version of Oreo? I want to make sure its not me being dumb or if there is something wrong with the beta build.
I got it going, I just reflashed in Odin then updated in recovery mode and it's good. I'm loving the fact that I was still able to keep my VZW video calling and hd voice and everything
Can you post the exact steps you did. I am on Verizon as well. Did you have to download and install the AT&T AQGL? Did you do that through Odin? Did you flash all the parts or just the AP?

Downloaded aqgl from sammobile I think it was CCT CSC code since there's no att one. Flashed all of it in Odin(regular not Comsy) used the home CSC. Then went into recovery and flashed the update through sd card. Got stuck on the samsung logo for a while so I went and flashed through Odin again did the update again and it worked, then my phone updated my CSC features, rebooted and there you go.

Hmm the only bug I'm experiencing is that bothers me is when listening to Google play music the audio skips really bad when using third party EQ. Goes away when I unlock the screen but other than that it's pretty bad. Everything else is running smoothly
yea me too... but i find theres not a lot different then nougat. Dont like the persistent system and app notifications that i could hide on N

Are the app notification badges working for you? I.e. get a text and it shows the number count for the messages or email? I know this worked before in previous versions on Android and Samsung's touch wiz.
Don't seem to be working for me. Also have had to restart a few times to get my exchange email to sync.
Can someone on ATT verify the att messages backup and sync isn't greyed out?

It's greyed out for me too. I used Samsung Cloud to sync these and that worked fine.
