FYI, I tried flashing this on my SCL24 via TWRP.

Regular stuff like the launcher, menus, settings, etc. seem to work fine (excluding Edge Screen). It's also quite fast/smooth.

However, I was unable to proceed further than that due to maybe a connectivity issue? I can connect to my home wi-fi network, but am unable to do anything meaningful with the Open Gapps (8.1 ARM) browser. When I enter a url, there does appear to be some activity. For example, if I try to go to startpage.com, it will automatically add http:, and from there I get re-directed to the https: URL, and finally redirected to https://www.startpage.com/. However, nothing loads. The loading progress bar will remain in an unfinished state with just a blank white page.

I also tried installing Firefox via APK and got the same result. On another (probably unrelated note), opening the camera app gives me a black screen.

Anyway, I'm not disappointed at all. In fact, I'm quite impressed at the fluidity and snappiness of LineageOS. Kudos and thanks to their team and to micky387. I'm looking forward to future updates. :good:

Instructions:
You need to be on MM bootloader and modem
Download the latest build and gapps
Reboot to recovery
Wipe system, dalvik, cache and data (only in new install from another rom)
Flash the rom and gapps ( and magiskmanager)
Reboot system

After install Gapps when i try to Login on my Google account, It show Google play service Unfortunately Stooped.
And After Install this Rom, Sim Network Not Working.

camera error

Hello. Some problems with the rom here. Any idea specially for the camera? Even after a restart, it still does not work.
1. Camera gives error: "Can't connect camera"
2. Root access does not work. But I guess it is caused by installed the addonsu (v16) instead of magisk
3. Fingerprint seems to work, but with gitches. Sometimes it does not realize, sense the finger.

My procedure:
- Installed TPRW and did back up the stock efs, modem and recovery partitions.
- Factory format. (I did a full format, too.) then wiped Dalvic and Cash.
- Installed lineage-15.1-20190521-UNOFFICIAL-tblte
- Installed open_gapps-arm-8.1-mini-20190918
- Installed addonsu-16.0-arm-signed
- Rebooted.

Info:
Rom: lineage-15.1-20190521-UNOFFICIAL-tblte
Gapps: open_gapps-arm-8.1-mini-20190918
TWRP: twrp-3.3.1-0-tblte
Model: SM-N915F

NOTE: I firstly installed lineage-16.0-20190917-UNOFFICIAL-tblte, but it could not boot. So, I installed lineage-15.1-20190521-UNOFFICIAL-tblte.

NOTE: It turned out my back camera connector was not connected to phone motherboard. After connector secured,, camera has started working fine.

It works so smoothly on my 915P but there is any way to restore the Edge features? I tried the patch available in the Apps section but it doesn't work.

Does this ROM fix the issue where (multiple times a day) the phone suddenly starts asking the user to type the password instead of accepting fingerprint?

Bluetooth Audio Stream doesnt work. Connects just fine, but audio still plays from phone. Tried reinstalling Rom, different headphones and speakers, but the problem remains. Does anyone have a fix?
Otherwise great rom thx for your work

@micky387 love your work, For the SM915FY your twrp 3.1 is the only one that works for the phone and the 8.1 oreo. Is there any change to create a lineage 17 or an 18 that also works for this version? because the one that is made doesn't work yet for the phone to give the phone an extra life span in the future. Most are made for the SM-915F, not the SM-915FY so uploading doesn't work with the install function. Hope to hear your reply.
