No surprise it hit the home market first. I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for it to hit the other variants.

Some people have asked me privately: sorry but finally Oreo from F700 and also from H831 are not stable in H850. For this reason I haven't release finally.

Is not a problem with deodex or odex. I think is a problem with booloader or who can know, but I won't take the risk of flashing any other bootloader different than H850. So wait until Oreo is launched for H850 (if some day is released). Then I guess all will work as should (including G7 port).
