I tried updating with firmware finder but it gives authentication error. Actually it arrived way before today. The date on ff shows 20-10-2017. It's just that the it shows as MHA-AL00 instead of MHA-AL00C00. So anyone got a trick to update to this new firmware.

In firmware finder instead of AL00C00 type MHA-AL00 . U will get the list of updates. See if you can make it work.

To anyone who missed update cause quote is full.
You can search in FF model MHA-330 (not MHA-AL00 in this case)
Huawei is pushing number 103199 via HiCare.
Doesn't know ability of authentication (I have C636 region)

Found Oreo for the C567 us model on firmware finder, (MHA-L29 8.0.0.321 (C567)) but can't install it due to it "not being authorized". It's official and not a beta, but since it hasn't been authorized by Huawei, system update won't install the update, any clue on how to get around this without rooting or installing twrp? Or should I just be patient and wait on this update to be authorized and be rolled out to the us mate 9?

Have you tried it through eRecovery?

How do you know it's not beta?

Because it's already rolled out on the east coast

Because it has already rolled out to the east coast through the official "update device" in settings. I'm still waiting on it to show up for me. (Beta versions of the firmware have "log" at the end of the build number).

I wonder what's up with Huawei and the US...
You never get any updates for C567.
You get official Oreo first (If it now is official), but 8.0.0.321 is the first beta uploaded, with security patch 2017-10-05.

I hope they update it for you immediately.
