Sure. Attached is the stock build.prop and wfdconfig.xml.

I've also tried the persist.debug.wfd.appmonitoring 1 thing, but it also does not work.

Not yet. Waiting for OP to fix it if he can. In the meantime, I've been searching around how to fix it. But all of the fixes are for nougat and below.

Yeah same boat haha, keep me updated I will do same If there is no fix for the HDCP error might just buy a chrome cast but we will see...

Hey guys, these mods will fix the screen mirroring, hide the VoLTE icon and the data notification icon.
Just flash via recovery.

Flashing this messed up my whole phone. Apps keep crashing here and there. Can you make an "unflash" please? I am on g8141 Oreo .75 build.

I think the error while trying to mirror Netflix is from hdcp2.2.
This is a security tool which adds a disturbing signal to those you gonna send. The other device needs the same hdcp status to filter that signal.

Was meant to provide screen capturing. Well makes it hard to stream anything just for watching also.

At least on 4k it is very strickt with protected content.
And Netflix, YouTube etc. run with 2160x3840px resolution even if you did not forced any resolution via adb.
