Lol!! I just recently switched to lineage and I have to admit that it makes this devices perform well. I have avoided lineage due to it's lack of features since I prefer AOSP Extended but this really makes me excited. Thanks for the hard work!

Good work so far, haven't tried to build from your sources yet, my build box isn't connected to the internet anymore so I can't sync.
I do hope you'll manage to get HALs working and that you will push your changes to Lineage Gerrit for code review, so kiwi can get official builds.

I wouldn't bother yet anyway, it's very much a work in progress. I'll try to update progress in this thread every now and then.

I know, but I figured out you probably wouldn't mind getting some help, at least. I have some experience with device bringup, yet with not much success I'll see if I can do something about that build box soon.

I don't really care too much anymore, and will replace this with a phone that can get Oreo(or pie), soon, as this seems to be a lost cause now.

Yeah, I'm thinking about that too. The honor 7X is appealing to me right now. The only issue is unlocking bootloader on new huawei phones.

I haven't seen him post in a while, but the last thing I saw him post insinuated that he's working on Arrow OS (Pie). I wouldn't expect it soon. Personally, I check the forums about once a week, and most of the time there are no new posts.
