Imagine that this is the stock ROM:
You see it's good, we can see potential, it stands up on its own but there's room for improvement.

You see? One set is the original and things based off the original but with their own original ideas working towards a goal of perfection. The other is not, it contains copies and mere derivatives of ideas but simple projects for aspiring developers to hopefully learn from and progress their way into the world of the Renaissance.
