Original EBook app Galaxy 7.7 without Honeycom statusbar

I really like original Ebook Reader app from galaxy 7.7.
But sadly when i'm reading at the evening, the honeycomb status bar is always there.

This is the only Ebook reader that shows Honeycomb status bar.
Can someone modify this so that the status bar would be hided like on the other ebook reader.
