Also, fyi to everyone...the OD2 aboot qfuse counter remains the same as NG2. This means that you can Odin back to at least NG2 at anytime after updating to 5.0.

I'm confused. Isn't that just for L720V and not L720? Also, that one looks like it's already pre-rooted? Does it require root to update that one?

Correct, it is for the L720V and FlashFire does require root access or you can flash with TWRP if you do not currently have root.

This is the correct filei for the regular L720 : L720VPUGOD2

The L720T file name is : L720TVPUCOD2

You have it mixed up. There are only two S4 versions, L720V(or just L720) and L720T(Spark).

I got it from mediafire myself. Had to do a wipe (encrypted, and Samsung puts recovery in front of encryption for some reason). But it worked fine for me. Just tested Flipboard, no problems.

So how do I flash this ROM if I just wiped my device for a clean install? Same way as the official update (either through stock recovery or push via ADB)?

I used the stock recovery, with the update located on my SD card.

I was hoping I could just replace my ddexe file with original, if that doesnt work, I have to take it back to stock odin file, and then flash this.

I went back to ng2 stock then installed the update.zip from the stock recovery but the WiFi won't start.

That's what I was expecting.

I just went back to stock NG2 from ODIN. I'm going through the update in a minute. I'll update you in a few.

If you are having any problems with the update (specifically error 7)

If you are getting any errors with the update (personally I got error 7) then your best bet is to restore back to stock NG2 via ODIN (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-sprint/development/rom-stock-ng2-odin-flashable-t2861576) and then try the update again via either SD card or adb.

Downloaded from MediaFire and getting an error : E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (Status 7)

EDIT: Figured it out... I keep forgetting that the package I have is NAE with the NG2 update being a separate zip, so now that's installed... it's updating! WooT.
